TELL US ALL ABOUT MICHELLE LUCHERINI MARKETING…..

I am passionate about providing support and structure to nurture and grow creative businesses through no-nonsense, practical marketing solutions.  Utilising my 10+ years of experience in commercially focused roles combined with my laser-sharp intuition, I focus in on the actions and strategies that make a tangible impact on my clients’ businesses.

I can’t be pigeonholed into a specific description – I’m a multi-skilled freelancer and firmly believe nothing is impossible when combining my “get stuff done” mentality with my clients’ creativity.
 

SO WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO WORK FOR YOURSELF?

After working in a corporate environment for over 10 years, and having my second child, I realised that I was burnt out.  I was over stressed at work and at home and it was negatively impacting every area of my life.

I thought, “Why be stressed out and working for someone else?”  I wanted to make a difference to small businesses, and if I was stressed out, I’d rather it be for my own business!
 

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS SO FAR?

After 2 years, I’ve grown the business by 30% and will shortly have reached my goal of working with 5 entrepreneurs on a regular basis to fully maximise my capacity.

Also I can say that I’ve increased sales for my longest-standing client’s business by over 25%, reducing his costs and time!!

 

TELL US THREE THINGS YOU’RE PLEASED YOU’VE LEARNT SINCE YOU STARTED OUT IN BUSINESS?

  1. Self employment is not a smooth ride.  I feel a lot of people think self-employment is the easy route to take (flexible hours, being your own boss) but it’s definitely not!  Flexible hours are great for a working mum, like myself, but self employment also means working nights and weekends to get everything done.  Plus being your own boss is fabulous, but you can’t rely on a paycheck every month!
  2. Gaining trust and building up your client base really does take time, especially when your aim is to build ongoing, lasting client relationships.  You can’t expect to have a full portfolio of client’s overnight, it requires marketing, networking, blood, sweat and tears!
  3. I wouldn’t change a thing!  Going through the hard times means I appreciate the good 10x more!!

 

HOW HAVE COWORKING DAYS HELPED YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS?

I can honestly say that 85% of my business has come from other Coworkers!  It’s not only a great place to make professional friends, learn from other entrepreurs but also to grow your business.
